Fraser Valley Phantom capture first playoff title with dominant 6-1 win over Thompson-Okanagan Rockets in winner-take-all game three of provincial finals. Preparation begins for April 6-8 Pacific Regional playoff v. the Alberta champion Edmonton Thunder for a spot in Canadian Nationals in P.E.I.!
The Fraser Valley Phantom ended a dramatic weekend series against the Kootenay Wildcats with a gutsy overtime win in game two to sweep the best-of-three series. Suitable for St. Patrick's Day, Brianna Keats showed her Irish by firing home the winner in front of a packed house at the Langley Sportsplex.
The Fraser Valley Phantom defeated the Rockets 4-0, the Wildcats 4-2, the Cougars 4-1, and tied the Fusion 1-1 in taking 7 of a possible 8 points during the final Super Weekend in Kelowna. 46 points ensures the Phantom first overall in the league and guarantee them home ice throughout the playoffs.
